The department has been accredited by NBA in the year 2015. The department has various committees and coordinators to monitor the activities of the department at a regular interval and to suggest improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The Major Committees and Coordinators<\/em><\/strong><br>\u2022 Program Coordinator<br>\u2022 NBA Coordinator<br>\u2022 Course Coordinator<br>\u2022 Program Assessment Committee (PAC)<br>\u2022 Department Advisory Board (DAB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities of the various Department coordinators <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Program Coordinator<\/em><\/strong><br>\u2022 Acts as interface between department and key stakeholders, students, faculties and employer.<br>\u2022 Evaluates and assess the activities in the program independently with the course coordinators.<br>\u2022 Prepares work plan in accordance with the objectives and outcomes of the program.<br>\u2022 Monitors and coordinates entire activities of the program enforcing appropriate policies and procedures to ensure utmost efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>NBA Coordinator<\/strong><\/em><br>\u2022 Applying for NBA<br>\u2022 Meeting NBA requirements<br>\u2022 Getting NBA visits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Course Coordinator<\/em><\/strong><br>\u2022 Responsible for Coordinating and supervising the progress of teaching of all courses in the semester.<br>\u2022 Responsible for assessment of the course objectives and outcomes.<br>\u2022 Recommends and facilitates to organize workshops, seminars, faculty development programs, conferences to meet the course outcomes.<br>\u2022 Analyzes results of each course and recommends the Program Coordinator to take appropriate action.<br>\u2022 Coordinates with students, faculty members and program coordinator to formulate appropriate priorities and policies.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Program Assessment Committee<\/em><\/strong><br>\u2022 Program Assessment Committee consists of Program Coordinator, Course coordinator of the Semester and faculty representatives.<br>\u2022 Headed by Program Coordinator, the committee monitors the attainment of PEOs.<br>Assesses program effectiveness and proposes necessary changes.<br>\u2022 Prepares periodic progress reports on program activities for college administration.<br>\u2022 Encourages the faculty and students to attend workshops, developing working models, paper publications and research.<br>\u2022 Interfaces with students, faculty members, program coordinator, semester coordinators and outside agencies in fulfilling program educational objectives.<br>\u2022 Committee congregates twice in a year to review the program and submits report to Department Advisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Department Advisory Board<\/strong><br>\u2022 <\/em>It consists of program coordinator, senior faculty members and representatives of key stakeholders.<br>\u2022 Headed by Program Coordinator, receives the report of the Program Assessment Committee and reviews the progress of the program.<br>\u2022 It analyses current and future issues related to the program.<br>\u2022 Prepares and recommends new or revised program objectives.<br>\u2022 Program Assessment Committee congregates once in a year to review the program objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)<\/em><\/strong><br><strong>PEO 1: <\/strong>To develop proficiency in mathematics, computing, and engineering through activity-based learning, enabling effective problem-solving and fostering readiness for diverse careers or higher education opportunities.<br><strong>PEO 2<\/strong>: To develop competencies in analyzing real-life problems and delivering innovative solutions using the latest tools and techniques in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and IoT.<br><strong>PEO 3:<\/strong> To nurture professionalism, leadership, and quality skills, enabling individuals to excel in their professions and adapt to evolving challenges through lifelong learning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Program Specific Outcome (PSOs)<\/em><\/strong><br><strong>PSO1:<\/strong> Able to demonstrate the expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing for<br>developing, testing, and maintaining intelligent software systems that drive business growth.<br><strong>PSO2<\/strong>: Capable of leveraging computational knowledge and project management skills to develop creative and innovative solutions.<br><strong>PSO3<\/strong>: Committed to applying ethical principles and upholding professional and social responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Program Outcomes (POs):<br><strong>Engineering knowledge: <\/strong>Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering fundamentals, and an Engineering Specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.<br><strong>Problem Analysis:<\/strong> Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyses complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.<br><strong>Design\/development of solutions: <\/strong>Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.<br><strong>Conduct investigations of complex problems:<\/strong> Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.<br>Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern engineering and IT tools including predication and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.<br><strong>The engineer and society:<\/strong> Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.<br><strong>Environment and sustainability:<\/strong> Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.<br>Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.<br><strong>Individual and team work:<\/strong> Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.<br><strong>Communication:<\/strong> Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able <\/strong>Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one\u2019s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in
