- Microwave Communication Laboratory: Experiments in this lab include microwave bench setup for studying various components, VSWR, Gunn diode characteristics .
- Basic Electronic Laboratory: Students explore fundamental electronic devices, circuit configurations, biasing, and frequency response of amplifiers.
Departmental Library
A departmental library has been set up to cater the need of the different stakeholders of the department. It serves the needs of the faculties, research scholars, students and members of the institute. It is the heart of the department which acts as the centre for the collection of text books of allied subjects, technical magazines and develops a comprehensive strategy of print, digital and online resources, useful for teaching, research and reference purposes.
Industrial Lecture
Listening to guest speakers and participating in ensuing discussions is an integral part of education. Guest lecturers open-up students’ eyes for better job prospects. Our department invites many renowned industrial people to deliver their lectures on different industrial topics and issues in order to bridge the gap between industry and academia.

Industrial Tours / Study Tours
Technical education without having a hands-on experience is never going to be fruitful. Every year we schedule a series of extraordinary pre-planned group tours for students. It provides opportunities to students to discover new things for themselves, through participation in hands-on activities. “Industrial visits are efforts to bridge the gap between theory and practical” and its benefits are as follows:
- It help students gain first hand information regarding functioning of the industry.
- Provides opportunities to plan organize and engage in active learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
- It is Mandatory in various Indian universities hence it also full fills certain curriculum requirements.
- Provides an insight into the real working environment of the industry.
- Helps them to see their future place in the working world.
