The college has a state of art class room facility for all classes of Computer Science & Engineering. Our classrooms are fully Air conditioned and equipped with all presentation tools. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated to ensure that our students are comfortable and study in a favorable learning environment.

Laboratories

The various laboratories under the department of CSE:
Basic Programming Skill Using C Lab: It builds a strong foundation in variables, data types, operators, control structures, and input/output operations.
Computer Networks Lab: It helps students understand networking concepts like protocols, topologies, IP addressing, and packet transmission.
Computer Graphics Lab: It is used to create and manipulate visual content using programming techniques.
It helps students understand concepts like 2D/3D transformations, drawing algorithms, and rendering techniques.
Operating System Lab: It is used to understand the internal workings of operating systems through practical implementation. It helps students learn concepts like process management, memory management, scheduling, and file systems.
Database Engineering Lab: It is used to design, implement, and manage relational databases using SQL.
It helps students understand data modelling, normalization, querying, and transaction management.
Advanced Programming Lab: It is used to develop complex software solutions using advanced programming concepts and languages. It helps students enhance skills in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and real-world application development.
Computer Organization And Architecture Lab: It is s used to study the structure and behavior of computer systems through practical experiments. It helps students understand processor design, memory hierarchy, instruction execution, and digital logic circuits.
Engineering Workshop Lab: This lab develops practical skills, safety awareness, and an understanding of material properties and processes. It lays the foundation for mechanical and production engineering practices in real-world industries.
Project Lab: This lab consists of various unique projects undertaken by the students and faculties of the department.
R & D Lab: The department also has specific labs beyond curriculum used exclusively for research and development purpose, such as:
R & D Lab on Nano Fluids
R & D Lab on Advanced Composites
R & D Lab on alternative fuel production

Mini Conference Hall

There is a well furnished Seminar hall equipped with latest LCD projectors in the main building which caters to the needs of the department such as presentation of Minor & Major project, Seminar, FDP, Expert Talk and similar special programs.

Departmental Library

A departmental library has been set up to cater the need of the different stakeholders of the department. It serves the needs of the faculties, research scholars, students and members of the institute. It is the heart of the department which acts as the centre for the collection of text books of allied subjects, technical magazines and develops a comprehensive strategy of print, digital and online resources, useful for teaching, research and reference purposes.

Industrial Tours / Study Tours
Technical education without having a hands-on experience is never going to be fruitful. Every year we schedule a series of extraordinary pre-planned group tours for students. It provides opportunities to students to discover new things for themselves, through participation in hands-on activities. “Industrial visits are efforts to bridge the gap between theory and practical” and its Benefits are as follows:
• It helps students gain first hand information regarding functioning of the industry.
• Provides opportunities to plan organize and engage in active learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
• It is mandatory in various Indian universities. Hence, it also fulfils certain curriculum requirements.
• Provides an insight into the real working environment of the industry.
• Helps them to see their future place in the working world.

Summer Internship
• Internship policy is an impactful strategy for creating a future talent pool for the industry.
• AICTE & BPUT has initiated various activities for promoting industrial internship at the graduate level in technical institutes.
• The main aim of these initiatives is to enhance the employability skills of the students graduating from technical institutions.
Benefits of Summer Internships
• An opportunity to get hired by the Industry/ organization.
• Practical experience in an organizational setting.
• Excellent opportunity to see how the theoretical aspects are learned in classes is integrated into the practical world. On-floor experience provides much more professional experience which is often worth more than classroom teaching.
• Helps them decide if the industry and the profession is the best career option to pursue.
• Opportunity to learn new skills and supplement knowledge.
• Opportunity to practice communication and teamwork skills.
• Opportunity to learn strategies like time management, multi-tasking etc. in an industrial setup.
• Makes a valuable addition to their resume.
• Enhances their candidacy for higher education.
• Creating network and social circle and developing relationships with industry people.
• Provides opportunity to evaluate the organization before committing to a full time position.
To accommodate above guidelines, students of CSE Department have visited the following industries to complete their Summer Internship.

• CUTM, BBSR
• CTTC, BBSR
• NALCO, ANGUL
• VEDANTA JHARSUGUDA
• RSP, ROURKELA
• BOKARO STEEL,BOKARO
Value Added Courses
The department continuously organizes the professional training in Computer Aided Design, Manufacturing & Analysis and MAT LAB for the students of CSE , Few of them are:
• Training on ANDROID.
• Certificate Training on PHP.
• Certificate Training on PYTHON.
• Certificate Training on NS2.
