24X7 Medical Facility

Health care facilities for students and staff are felt to be the basic need. The institute has a dispensary on campus to meet the first aid and routine medical requirements of the students free of cost. A separate room is earmarked for the said facility. Specialists visit the campus at least twice a month to ensure good health of the day scholars, staff and the inmates of the hostel.

The dispensary is the heart beat of the institute which provides Treatment for different diseases and also provide first aid to the injured. GIFT has a fully-fledged 24 hours medical dispensary with all the necessary arrangements to meet any emergency situation. One full time Resident Homeopathy Doctor and Pharmacist is appointed by the college. The Medical Officer and dispensary staffs are available round the clock. Free prescription and medicine are available in college dispensary. The timings of the dispensary are notified from time to time. Students are advised to get themselves treated in the college dispensary. Serious cases are referred to the Government Authorized Hospitals.

Ambulance facility is also available in the college and can be availed by a student/patient on recommendation of the medical officer and/or seriousness of the case by the concerned Hostel Warden.

Free health checkup camps are organized time to time in the college. Our college also serves the noble cause of blood donation. Blood Donation camps are organized two-three times in a year. Volunteers can donate their blood and get certificates too.
