Agricultural Engineering

The Agricultural Engineering is designed to develop skills and explore career in agriculture and allied fields. The instructional program includes topics in Farm machinery & Power, Agricultural Processing & Food Engineering, Dairy Engineering, Renewable Energy and Soil & Water Conservation Engineering. It also includes topics related to Agronomy, Soil Science and Horticulture. Students will acquire skills necessary to meet their individual career objectives, occupational skills for gainful employment and leadership abilities to work effectively in groups and as a team. In addition to this, the program provides for research and supervised work experience to enhance the needs and interests of each student. Agricultural engineers’ main role is to solve problems found in agricultural production.
